East Ave Barbell will be hosting its first ever strength seminar.
If you are….
-Looking to improve your form (deadlift, bench, squat, and press)
-Interested in relevant anatomy to improve your lifting
-Looking to meet experienced strength coaches who also compete in powerlifting and strongman themselves
-Wondering how to write you own strength and peaking program, or looking for areas to improve
With three hours of hands-on coaching, learn how to program for yourself!
This will a 5 hour strength seminar. Including both lecture and practical.
Bring a lifting belt and squat shoes,water,and any other equipment you use for your primary lifts.
10am-11am – Anatomy of the main lifts; bracing mechanics
Everyone will be split up into even groups.
Each group will go to an assigned station.
Each station will be one of the main lifts.
Each station will have the same coach, working only 1 lift
Each person will work up to a heavy set of 5 reps.
11:00-11:40am – Block 1
11:40-12:20pm – Block 2
12:20pm – 12:40pm – Lunch Break (lunch provided)
12:40pm-1:20pm – Block 3
1:20pm-2:00 pm – Block 4
2:00-3pm – Programming; Q & A
There will be a 20 PARTICIPANT LIMIT
