Head to Head Log Press
Competitors will be going head to head for max reps in a minute. Competitors may Strict Press, Push press, Push Jerk, or split jerk the log. Per USS rules the log may NOT Rest on any portion of the head or face during the lift. Clean each rep.
Men will be using a Bartos 12 inch Log and women will be using a 10 inch titan log.
13 inch Axle Deadlift for Reps:
Max reps in a minute, no touch and go. No partially raising the deadlift then slamming the weights into the floor in the hopes of bouncing the weight past your sticking point. There will be up and down commands. Regular straps and versa grips are ok, suits are not allowed. No Figure 8s. Chalk, liquid chalk are acceptable. No tacky, resin, stickum, deadlift hooks, or any other sticky substance to aid in grip will be allowed.
Farmers carry:
50 foot carry farmers carry, no straps. fastest time wins and the entire implement must cross the finish line within 1 minute. If the competitor does not finish in 60 seconds, distance will be measured to the rear of the implement.
This will be done in a drag race fashion.
Chalk, liquid chalk are acceptable. No straps of any type, tacky, resin, stickum, deadlift hooks, or any other sticky substance to aid in grip will be allowed.
Santas sled pull:
Competitors will carry two sandbags to a sled 50 feet away from the starting line and quickly put a truck pull harness on and pull the apparatus to the finish line. 60 second time limit, more information will be posted closer to the actual event.
Max Keg Carry and Load:
Athlete will carry the heaviest Keg they can 20 feet and Load over a 48 inch bar (46 inches for women). 3 attempts, you miss and you're out.
Chalk, liquid chalk, and grip shirts are acceptable. No tacky, resin, stickum, deadlift hooks, or any other sticky substance to aid in grip will be allowed.
